  Important Information:
  • All activities MUST be contracted a MINIMUM of three (3) weeks in advance to be guaranteed and are on a first come/first served basis.
  • A minimum of ten (10) participants required to book any activity.
  • A Guest Group MUST provide one (1) adult assistant for every ten (10) participants under the age of 18.

Camp to Coast Enjoy the many beautiful trails through the redwood forests around our grounds and beyond. The terrain offers a variety of challenges for all skill levels. (more) $30 per person
Sunset Boulders Sunset Boulders is approximately 12 miles from camp overlooking the scenic Sonoma County coastline of Goat Rock State Beach. We have a variety of roped climbs for all ability levels and plenty of good seats for spectators. This is a great experience that stretches personal comfort zones and unifies your group as they encourage and push each other in a safe learning environment. (more)

Russian River Journey - Kayaking Ready for an adventure? You will be navigating the scenic Russian River for several hours with stops along the way for rest, refreshment, and maybe an invigorating swim. The challenge on the Russian River is kayaking against the ocean breezes as you travel down river. Behold the beauty of this trip as you enjoy astonishing views of rolling hills, deep coastal valleys, harbor seals, and abundance of waterfowl. (more)

Pomo to Pacific - Hiking/Solo Experience Choose from several routes along the Sonoma coastline, strolling along the beach or hiking the hills. This can be either a great group bonding experience with team-building exercises, a time of solitude, or just a beautiful walk. Whether you are after a rigorous and exhilarating hike or a more relaxed stroll along the beach, we are excited to show you some of our favorite local spots! (more)

Extreme High Ropes Course The ultimate challenge! Your group will push themselves as they will be presented with challenges 60 feet in the air.

Basketball
(Indoor & Outdoor)

Basketball (Indoor & Outdoor) - The indoor court is located in the Memorial Building and the outdoor court is located in near the parking lot. Basketballs are available at the front desk.

Sand Volleyball

Take your shoes off and get ready to bump, set, and spike. Our court is located in the main camp area and available to all our guests. Indoor volleyball is also available, see Guest Services for more information. (more)

Skate Park

Now kids of all ages can "catch some air" in our skate park. Equipped with launch ramps, quarter pipes, and grind rails, beginners and pros alike will find our park to be "most excellent". Available mid-June to mid-September and guest group must provide an adult to supervise. (more)

Swimming Pool

The ARCG heated swimming pool is available April 1 - October 31. Free swim is scheduled each Saturday 1:30 - 5:30pm and all ARCG guests are invited to take advantage of the ARCG-provided lifeguards. Guest groups may request additional and/or exclusive pool usage with Guest Services at least two weeks prior to a retreat. An additional cost of $12.00/hour for a certified lifeguard will be charged. Guest Groups may provide their own American Red Cross Certified/CPR Certified Lifeguard and use the pool at no cost. Current certifications must be on file with ARCG prior to pool use.

PLEASE NOTE: Guest Groups providing their own certified lifeguards must ensure a 1 lifeguard to 25 swimmer ratio at all times. ARCG staff reserves the right to require appropriate, modest swimming attire in the pool area. (more)

Ballfield

We have a large ballfield located on the hill above camp. It is great for softball, football, soccer or other large group games. The ballfield is home to a large amphi-theater complete with a campfire pit. Times are arranged with Guest Services. (more)

Nature Hikes

We have many hiking trials on our 117 beautiful acres of Redwood, Madrone, Bay and Oak trees. There are maps in the main office to aid you in exploring them. (more)

Bouldering Cave

Enjoy rock climbing with no ropes! The maximum height is about 3 feet.

Racquetball The racquetball court is located in the Memorial Fellowship Building. We provide all the needed equipment but you are also welcome to bring your own. If arranged before hand, the racquetball court can be used for a great game of Walleyball. (more)

Recreation Room The recreation room is located in the Memorial Fellowship Building. Try your hand at pool, ping pong, foosball or air hockey. The rec room is open late for your enjoyment. (more)
